Another Type Of Parenting: Starfall And Rainbow Children

Another type of parenting: Fallen and rainbow children

Do you know what star fall and rainbow children are?

All pregnancies are a miracle that is worth celebrating, but for those who have waited a long time, it may be extra special. Regardless of the circumstances, parenthood ignites a spark deep inside the body.

It fills life with color and makes one discover the best with oneself and share it with the world. Becoming a parent is something that gives strength and power.

But even if we all would like to have a risk-free and healthy pregnancy, we can not control everything. When the mysterious design of fate intervenes in our lives, parenting can be different than we first expected, and that is what is called star-falling and rainbow children.

What does it mean to have star-falling and rainbow children?

Fallen and rainbow children are relatively new concepts, so it’s understandable if you have not heard of them.

To help you identify them, we’ll take a look at each one.

Some parenting does not follow the conventional path. Not all pregnancies go exactly as we would have liked, as in the case of falling stars and rainbow children.

The concept

A fallen child is one who lives in the womb, but who for some reason beyond our control is not born into the world.

The child has felt the love of his parents, and has filled them with hope, but is unfortunately just like a falling star that disappears far too quickly.

It is difficult to move on after a falling child. Afterwards comes inevitably a period of grief. Hope fades and the world seems to lose that special luster that you are used to. You can easily suffer from depression.

Even if the child left the world too soon, it was part of us and also part of the family. Despite the child’s death, we value its memory.

It can be painful to think about it at first, but over time, the pain will diminish.

When we get pregnant again is when the rainbow baby comes into our lives. It is the child who is born after a star child.

They come into the world filled with light and color to illuminate our lives and give us back that special glow that only parenting brings.

The star falls child

A star is a celestial body. We know it is there even though it is far away. That does not stop it from being beautiful and magical.

The same goes for star-falling children. They do not come straight to us as we had hoped, but they touch our lives forever.

A falling star

It’s a loss without equal. We could easily say that parents never recover from it, but the fact is that you learn to live with it, and that’s how you move forward.

If there is one thing that parenting gives us, it is the infinite ability to love again and again.

Having a star child teaches us to love. It’s something you do not forget so easily. The life that grew within us made us parents.

The darkness disappears, sooner or later, and the sun returns. The road in front of us opens with all its narrow turns. Life smiles at us again with a new pregnancy, one that is coming to an end, despite our worst fears. This is how a rainbow child comes into our lives.

The light that comes with rainbow children

A rainbow appears only after the storm has passed, a storm in the form of pain for a couple who have lost a child.

Rainbow children are born after a time of adversity. Their parents know what it is to mourn. They are afraid to go through the process again, and that makes this particular parenting different.

We can be over-cautious and doubt ourselves at every step, but when the rainbow spreads over the sky and into our lives, it takes away all the pain.

Despite all the suffering and sorrow that follows a fallen child, hope returns. The light from the rainbow shines in hundreds of colors, and brings the warmth and joy again.

It is a new happiness, a different form of parenting, full of smiles and opportunities.
